Lady Bears drop MACJC South Division opener

The Lady Bears dropped their first MACJC South Division match of the season Tuesday afternoon at home, 2-0, to the visiting Meridian Lady Eagles.
 
Meridian (3-4, 1-1 South) scored the only goal they would need at the 61st minute of the contest. They added their final goal at the 89th minute.
 
The Lady Bears (0-4, 0-1 South) will be back in action Friday night when they face the Mississippi Gulf Coast Lady Bulldogs in a 5:00 South Division matchup in Perkinston.
