Southwest Mississippi Community College

Jamie Jackson is now in his fifth year as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Eligibility at SMCC.

Jackson — a native of Summit and an alum of North Pike High School — is also entering his ninth year as a math instructor at Southwest. 

A former member of the Bear football team, Jackson graduated from Southwest in 1999 before obtaining his a bachelor's degree in Biology from Mississippi College, where he was also a member of the Choctaw football team. From there, he moved on to William Carey where he graduated in 2005 with his Master's in Education. 

From 2001-2010, Jackson was a football and baseball coach at North Pike. 

Jackson and his wife, Keri are the parents to daughter Sophie Reid and son James Parker.
