Peet signs with Niagara University

Evie Peet, a sophomore midfielder for the Lady Bears soccer team, has signed a scholarship to continue her academic and athletic career with Niagara University. She is a native of Manchester, England.
 
Niagara is a private Catholic university located in Lewiston, NY. The NCAA Division 1 Purple Eagles play in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
 
Peet said she chose to sign with Niagara because she "really liked the coach (who was) really interested in me. I liked the location and having family less than an hour away (in Canada) helped."
 
Asked what she would take from Southwest to help her be successful at Niagara, Peet said "playing a big role here helped me develop as a player and person" and "taking those qualities with me will help me there."
 
As a freshman, Peet topped led the Lady Bears with 9 assists while finishing tied for 2nd in goals (5) and 2nd in total points (19).
 
As a sophomore, Pee again led the Lady Bears with 9 assists. Her 6 goals and 21 total points were 2nd on the team.
 
She finished her Southwest career 1st all-time in assists (18) and 2nd all-time in points (40).
