First half goals from Jaci Murphy and Micaela Robinson were all the Holmes Lady Bulldogs (2-0) would need Tuesday as they defeated the Southwest Lady Bears 2-0 in non-division soccer action in Ridgeland.
Kendyl Adam has six saves in the game for the Lady Bears.
The Lady Bears (0-2) will look for their first win of the season on Thursday when they travel to Decatur to face the East Central Lady Warriors. Action is set for a 1:00 start.
