The Southwest Lady Bears fell to 0-2 on the young season with a 2-0 non-division soccer loss to visiting East Central Tuesday afternoon. The Bears went down 2-1 to move to 0-1-1.
 
Both Southwest teams return to action Tuesday when they play host to Holmes Community College. Match times are 2:00 for the ladies and 4:00 for the men.
 
The Lady Warriors would score the only goal they would need when Tamia Cavett found the goal at 2:11 of the first half. An own goal (a goal accidentally by Southwest in their own goal) at 6:31 of the half produced the final score. Southwest keeper Haley Allen had eight saves on the day.
