With the win, the Southwest women finished the season with a 5-9 overall record; they were 2-6 in the MACJC’s South Division. The Bears ended the campaign at 3-9-2 and 3-4-1 and were only one win from a spot in this week’s state playoffs.

Sophomore Casey Lyle found the back of the goal, with an assist from freshman Jessica St. Pierre, to put the Lady Bears up 1-0 at the 21:00 mark. Southwest added four more goals in the half to hold a 5-0 lead at the break. They added four more in the second half before Co-Lin got on the board at 65:00 with a goal from Abbie Graves.

All four Southwest sophomores contributed to the win. Lyle added a second goal, and had an assist, while Courtney Palisi scored a goal and recorded an assist and Haley Roalson also scored.
