Lady Bears, Meridian tie 1-1 in double OT

The Lady Bears and host Meridian Lady Eagles played two overtimes, for a total of 110 minutes, Friday night and ended the MACJC South Division game deadlocked 1-1.

After falling behind 1-0 at the 9:59 mark, the Lady Bears (1-11-1, 0-6-1) knotted the game at 1-1 when Allison Sherman scored after going one-on-one with the Meridian (4-10-1, 1-5-1).

The Lady Bears close out their season at home on October 15 with a 1:00 South Division matchup against the Mississippi Gulf Coast Lady Bulldogs.
