Lady Bears shut out at home by #11 Jones County

Mary Kate Smith scored the only goal the visiting Jones County Lady Bobcats would need at 4:34 of the game as they defeated the Lady Bears 5-0 Tuesday afternoon.
 
The visitors (9-1, 6-0 MACJC South), ranked #11 in the NJCAA, would lead 4-0 at the end of the first half and score one additional goal in the second half.
 
Jennifer Solis and Kendyl Adam combined to save 15 of 20 shots on goal for the Lady Bears (2-11, 1-5 South).
 
The Lady Bears return to action Friday night as they travel to Meridian to face the Lady Eagles. The South Division game is set to get underway at 5:00.
