Homestanding Lady Bears fall to Pearl River, 4-0

The Southwest Lady Bears suffered a 4-0 home loss Tuesday afternoon to the Pearl River Lady Wildcats in MACJC South Division soccer play. Southwest dropped to 2-5 overall and 1-1 in the South while Pearl River moved to 3-0, 2-0.
 
Goals by Hailey Furlan, at 20:00, and Morgan Saucier, at 35:00, gave the visitors a 2-0 lead at the break. They then added two more goals in the second half.
 
The Lady Bears make their first South Division road trip of the season on Saturday when they visit the Mississippi Gulf Coast Lady Bulldogs in Perkinston. Starting time for the match is 2:00.
