Lady Bears start slow in road loss to LSU-Eunice Bengals.

After facing a large first quarter deficit, the Lady Bears began to heat up but ultimately fall short losing 48-81, unable to close the gap created early in the game.

The Bengals started the game with a 21-0 run against the Lady Bears leading to a first quarter score of 33-4 in favor of the home team.

After a slow first quarter, the Lady Bears kept the scoring closer in the second with a 7-0 run to start the quarter, but still found themselves in a 16-47 deficit at the half.

The Lady Bears began to heat up in the third, with a spark coming from a pair of threes by Laci Buchanan, outscoring the Bengals 18-13 in the quarter.

Unable to recover from the large first quarter deficit, the Lady Bears lose their second straight game in a 48-81 loss to the LSU-Eunice Bengals.

Keyona Royal and Shanell Celestine led the Bears in scoring 9 points apiece.

The Lady Bears look on to conference play starting on January 15^th as they travel to Utica to take on Hinds at 5:30 P.M.
