In Tuesday's conference finale against Itawamba, the Bear Men's and Women's Tennis teams put up a fight against the Indians but came up short as the No. 24 men fell 8-1 to the No. 17 Indians and the women lost 6-0 to the No. 21 Lady Indians.
 
Among the highlights was Southwest men No. 2 singles Mansur Khajimuradov who won his hard-fought match, 6-4, 7-5. No. 3 singles Manan Kumar became locked in a battle in his match, but dropped a heartbreaker 4-6, 5-7.
 
Both teams wrap the regular season Tuesday at 2 p.m. hosting Bevill State whose men's team is ranked 21^st and the women 25^th.
