A little more than 24 hours after picking up a big 5-4 road win over Northeast Mississippi, the Lady Bears Tennis Team came home and kept the momentum going with a 5-4 win over Hinds.
 
In doubles play, the No. 1 team of Larina Anderson and Mary Kuntz lost 8-0. The No. 2 team of Emma Carruth and Sophie Tompkins and the No. 3 team of Anne Speights and Elise Gillissie won their matches 8-6 and 8-0, respectively.
 
In singles play, No. 1 Anderson and No. 2 Kuntz each fell 6-0, 6-0. No. 3 Carruth lost 6-3, 5-7, 1-0.
 
No. 4 singles Tompkins won 6-4, 6-0, No. 5 Speights won 6-1, 6-1 and No. 6 Gillissie won 6-0, 6-0.
 
The Lady Bears return to action Tuesday when they head to Perkinston to face Mississippi Gulf Coast.
