Lady Bears push #9 Jones to the brink before falling 1-0

The Lady Bears pushed 9th-ranked Jones to the brink Friday afternoon before falling 1-0 in MACCC South Division soccer action.

Jones scored the only goal of the match in the 70th minute to raise their record to 9-1 overall and 7-1 in the South.

Camila Cevallos had six saves in goal for the Lady Bears (3-8, 2-6).

The Lady Bears play their final home match of the season on May 10 at 2:00 against Mississippi Gulf Coast. They will honor their sophomore players at the conclusion of the match.
