Lady Bears, visiting Co-Lin battle to 2-2 double overtime tie

After battling for 110 minutes, the Southwest Lady Bears and visiting Co-Lin Lady Wolves ended their respective 2016 soccer seasons with a 2-2 double overtime tie.
 
The Lady Bears ended the campaign at 2-14-1 overall and 1-8-1 in the MACJC's South Division. Co-Lin ended the year at 0-16-1 and 0-9-1.
 
The Lady Bears took a 1-0 lead at 14:47 of the game when Taylor Laurent found the back of the net after taking a pass from Brooke Fritts. The home team carried the one-goal lead into the halftime.
 
Co-Lin knotted the game at 1-1 on a Raven Jones goal at 47:58.
 
The game remained deadlocked until the 73:28 mark when Josselyn Hernandez scored an unassisted goal to put the Lady Bears on back on top 2-1.
 
With time winding down, it appeared the Lady Bears would get the win. However, with only 0:10 to play, Jones again found the mark for Co-Lin and the teams went into overtime tied at 2-2. With neither team able to find the mark in either of the 10:00 extra periods, the game ended as it had started, it a tie.
