Lady Bears shutout at Gulf Coast

The first of two goals by Jess Shepherd was all the host Mississippi Gulf Coast Lady Bulldogs would need as they defeated the Lady Bears 6-0 Saturday afternoon in MACJC South Division soccer action in Perkinston.

Shepherd scored her first goal at 6:02 and the Lady Bulldogs (9-3-1, 7-2) went on to a 4-0 halftime lead. They would add two more goals in the second half.

The Lady Bears (2-14, 1-8) close out their season Tuesday afternoon as they host Co-Lin in a scheduled 2:00 game.
