Box Score Tuesday's season finale against Pearl River at home was hard fought by the Bears but the Wildcats were too much for the injury-riddled hosts as they fell 6-1.
 
"We just made a couple of mistakes that allowed them to be dangerous, and we missed a few chances that I felt like we could have put away," Southwest head coach Zach Mills said.
 
The Bears (6-9-1, 3-7-1 MACCC) had difficulty getting into rhythm early. The Wildcats went on a run scoring goals in the 10^th, 14^th, 17^th and 27^th minutes.
 
Despite the score, the Bears battled on and got on the board in the 35^th minute as Max Ruelke set up Ilan Marin for a goal making it a 4-1 game.
 
The Wildcats scored the two lone goals of the second half in the 61^st and 87^th minutes as Southwest had no answer.
