18th-ranked Itawamba defeats Lady Bears 3-0

The Lady Bears suffered their first defeat of the young season Wednesday afternoon as they dropped a 3-0 road decision to the 18th-ranked Itawamba Lady Indians.
 
Itawamba (1-1) scored the only goal they would need at the 13:44 mark. They would take the 1-0 lead into intermission and go on to add two second-half goals.

Southwest keeper Camila Cevallos had 9 saves.

The Lady Bears (1-1) return to the pitch on April 9 at 11:00 in Decatur when they face the Lady Warriors of East Central.
