Bears tennis shuts out Holmes

The Bears tennis team recorded its first win Friday afternoon with a 9-0 shutout of the Holmes Bulldogs.

In doubles, Daniel Espinosa-Gavin Thomas won 8-3 while Jexequiel Dela Cruz-Julius Boyd were 8-4 victors and Dylan Bergeron-Jacob Brown prevailed 8-0.

In singles play, #1 Espinosa won 6-0, 6-1; #2 Boyd won 6-4, 6-4; #3 Dela Cruz won 6-2, 6-4; #4 Thomas, #5 Bergeron and #6 Brown each won 6-0, 6-0.
