Host Pearl River defeated the Lady Bears Tuesday evening in Poplarville, 9-1, in MACJC South Division soccer action.
 
The Lady Bears' lone goal came at the 84:23 mark of the game off the foot of Luz Arellano.
 
Up next for the Lady Bears (0-5-1, 0-2-1) return to play Friday at home when they take on the Lady Eagles of Meridian. Game time is set for 2:00.
