Host Holmes defeats Lady Bears

The Lady Bears took one on the chin Tuesday afternoon in Ridgeland as they fell to the host Holmes Lady Bulldogs, 9-0.
 
The Lady Bulldogs (3-0) took a 1-0 lead just under 15:00 into the game and went on to take a 5-0 lead at the end of the first half. They would add four more goals in the second half to secure the win.
 
The Lady Bears (0-3) return to action Saturday, and play at home for the first time in 2018, when they open MACJC South Division play with a 1:00 match against the Lady Bobcats of Jones County.
