Lady Bears fall in season-opener at Itawamba

The Itawamba Lady Indians took a 1-0 lead 12 minutes into the game and went on to claim a 6-0 win over the Lady Bears soccer team Friday afternoon in Fulton. The contest was the season-opener for the Lady Bears.
 
Despite surrendering six goals, Lady Bears' keeper Kimora Wells still had a good game in goal as she recorded 11 saves.
 
The Lady Bears return to action Saturday morning at 11:00 as they face the Lady Rangers of Northwest in Senatobia.
