"Tonight was not our sharpest performance," said Lady Bears head coach Brent Harris. "But, we found a way to finish another close one."

"I thought Jamaya had a strong night overall," Harris went on, "but, we must talk about our sophomores-Danyelle, Kacie (Fountain), Keturah, Peyton and Rachel-have all represented out program in the right way, on and off the court. They make it fun to come to work in the morning. Hopefully we can have some post-season magic next week at Northwest (the Lady Bears open the MACJC state tournament Tuesday at Northwest Mississippi Community College)."

Lewis led five Lady Bears in double figures with 14 points. Bingham ended the game with 12 points while Galloway scored 11 and Thompson had 10. The Lady Bears went 19-31 at the free throw line.
