The Southwest Lady Bears gave it all they had and then some Monday night, but it still was not enough, as they opened the 2014-15 season by dropping a tough 102-98 double overtime thriller to host Northeast on the opening night of the Northeast Classic in Booneville.

A Sherman jumper at the buzzer was no good, sending the game into extra play.
