Southwest Mississippi's Courterius Scott surpassed 1000 career points on his game winning shot against Jones College in the final game of the regular season.
Scott had 564 points for the Bears this year while shooting 49% from the field.
Courterius started his career at Co-Lin scoring 437 points for the Wolves.
Scott did not a miss a single game in the 23-24 season, medically redshirted for the 24-25 season, and has not missed a game for the Bears in the 25-26 season.
Scott was the leading scorer for Southwest this season averaging 34.2 minutes and 18.8 points per game.
