Luke Simmons (x2), Drew Swan, Hayes Loper, JD Hidalgo, and Robbie Hokamp each stole a base in the contest.

"I was proud of the way we fought the whole game. We played a really old team and our pitchers pitched lights out. Our position players played really good defense and we were able to score when we had opportunities to score. That's a key to winning close ball games," said Head Coach Jack Edmonson, "I'm excited about the direction of our team and our program."

The Bears improve to 2-0 and get ready for their first home games of the season on Friday, February 6th with a doubleheader against Mineral Area College.
