"That was our first date against in-state competition. I was really pleased with how we matched up. We had a couple of situations in game one that caused us to lose the game, but overall we played well," said Head Coach Jack Edmonson, "in game two we pitched and played defense really well and were able to execute on offense. We were able to pull away and get a win in the ninth inning, and we were able to win another close game which will help us throughout the year."

The Bears (8-3) will be back at home on Friday, February 20th to play Rend Lake Community College in a doubleheader.
