The Trojans (11-17, 7-13) scored six times in their half of the 2nd inning to take a 7-5 lead.

In the top of the 3rd, Coffey blasted a two-run homer over the centerfield fence to tie the score at 7-7.

A four-run bottom of the 3rd put the Trojans back on top, 11-7, as they went on to claim the win.

Braxton Cooksey took the loss on the mound for the Bears (5-23, 4-16), giving up seven runs on four hits and five walks in 1.1 innings.

The Bears made it 6-0 in the top of the 5th on Coffey's solo homer to leftfield, Tynes' RBI double and an RBI-single from Jerod Williams. Tynes also had two singles in the game.

The Trojans pulled to within 6-4 in their half of the 5th and added two runs in the bottom of the 7th to knot the game at 6-6 and force the extra inning.

A bases-loaded single in the bottom of the 8th gave the Trojans the winning run.
