Bears defeated by visiting Jones

The Bears opened MACJC South Division action Tuesday afternoon at home with a 9-1 loss to the defending state champion Jones Bobcats.
 
The Bobcats (3-2, 1-1) held a 2-0 lead before the Bears got on the board at 14:31 with a goal from Peter Kettle. Jaylon Crosby provided the assist.
 
The Bears (0-3-1) travel to Perkinston for their next match as they take on the Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs. Starting time for the South Division contest is scheduled for 7:00.
