Bears end season with Homecoming loss to Co-Lin

Homecoming did not turn out as hoped for the Bears as they were defeated, 41-0, by visiting Co-Lin in the season finale for both teams.
 
Co-Lin (3-5, 2-4 MACJC South) held a 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter, picking a 28-yard touchdown run from Dell Thigpen and an 8-yard Danny Clark to Antwine Robinson scoring pass. Bryce Lofton added both extra points.
 
Co-Lin would go on to lead 27-0 at the end of the first half. They then added two more touchdowns in the third quarter.
 
Ja'Tyler Moore led the Bears' ground game with 22 yards on two carries. Moore and Keyvont Baines combined to complete 11 of 25 passes for 130 yards.
 
The Bears (0-9, 0-6 MACJC South) had 8 first downs in the game and were whistled for 65 yards on 7 penalties. Jack Runnels averaged 30 yards on 6 punts.
 
Clark led the Co-Lin offense with 311 yards on 22-31 passing with five touchdowns.

Co-Lin had 21 first downs in the game and had four penalties for 30 yards. Lofton punted three times for 48 yards.
