Bears overcome William Carey JV, 2-1

The Bears won their second straight contest Tuesday evening when they overcame an early deficit to defeat the visiting William Carey University Crusaders JV squad, 2-1.
 
The Crusaders took a 1-0 lead at the 16:18 mark of the game. The lead held up until 27:06 when Ryan Adderholdt chipped the visitors' keeper and scored from 30 yards out to tie the contest at 1-1. That is where things stood at halftime.
 
At the 65:06 mark, Diego Rangel took a pass from Adderholdt, turned just in front of the 18 and fired the ball into the right window of the goal to give the Bears (2-7-1) what proved to be the game winner.
 
The Bears take to the road for their next matchup as they face the Jones Bobcats at 7:00 Friday night in Ellisville.
