Box Score In the final road test of the season, the Bears fought hard against the host Northwest Rangers but lost momentum late before falling 3-1.
The Bears (6-8-1, 3-6-1 MACCC) fell behind 1-0 in the 23
rd minute when the Rangers scored, making it a 1-0 contest.
Early in the second half, Southwest pulled even when Ilan Marin got a pass from Brian Sanchez before finding the back of the net.
The momentum was, unfortunately, short-lived as Northwest scored 11 minutes later making it a 2-1 game.
The Bears looked for the equalizer once again, but lost focus as the Rangers scored on a cross from short-range in the 83rd minute making the score the eventual final.
Southwest returns home Tuesday to host Pearl River in the season finale.
