Delor's four goals, Alisiardi's three assists propel Bears to 5-0 win at Co-Lin

With Jaime Delor's team-record-tying four goals leading the way, the Bears picked up a big win Friday night as they defeated their arch-rival, Co-Lin, 5-0 in an MACJC South Division contest in Wesson.
 
Delor matched the mark set in 2015 by his current teammate, Morris Aitken, and former Bears midfielder Tristen Nicholson.
 
Scoring his first goal on a penalty kick, Delor put the Bears (5-3, 2-3 South) up 1-0 at the 26:05 mark in the first half. He made it 2-0 at the end of the half with a goal at 34:53. Michael Escobar provided the assist.
 
Taking a pass from Francisco Alisiardi, Delor made it 3-0 at 59:13 of the game when he scored from within the six. Delor and Alisiardi teamed up again at 81:13 to make it 4-0.
 
Putting the icing on the cake for the Bears, Hunter Ford took a pass from Alisiardi and fired the ball into the goal, from 40 yards out, as time expired to reach the final score.
 
Co-Lin fell to 1-7 and 0-5 with the loss.
 
"Jaime, as always, is doing well and has done well," said Bears head coach Zach Mills.
 
"We, honestly, played a little slow (tonight)," Mills continued. "Co-Lin was pushing it and causing us some problems. But, I'm proud of my team for working hard and grinding it out."
 
The Bears hit the road for their next contest as they travel to Decatur on September 20 to take on the East Central Warriors in a non-division contest. Action is set go get underway at 7:00.
