A penalty-kick goal by Alexis Alonso-Gaytan at 1:48 of the match held up the rest of the way Tuesday afternoon as visiting Holmes (3-5) eased by the Southwest Bears 1-0 in MACJC non-division soccer action.
 
Southwest keeper Bryant Boyington saved four of five Holmes shots on goal.
 
The Bears (3-5-1) will play again Friday when they host East Central at 4:00 in a non-division match.
