Bears suffer tough loss at Gulf Coast

After battling through a scoreless first half, the Gulf Coast Bulldogs (6-2, 4-1) picked up a goal at 48:24 of the match and went on to defeat the Southwest Bears 1-0 in MACJC South Division soccer action Saturday afternoon in Perkinston.
 
Southwest keeper Bryant Boyington saved 11 of the 12 Gulf Coast shots on goal.
 
The Bears (3-4-1, 2-3) return home for their next match when they host the Holmes Bulldogs Tuesday in a 4:00 non-division match.
