Bears lose season-finale heartbreaker, 1-0

Matt Ross' goal at 74:58 of the match provided the only goal as visiting Mississippi Gulf Coast ended the Bears' regular season with a 1-0 victory Tuesday afternoon.
 
Bears' keeper Bryant Boyington had seven saves in the match and finished his career in Summit with team-record 1.31 goals against average.
 
The Bears finished the year at 7-8-2 overall and 4-5-1 in the MACJC South Division. Gulf Coast moved to 13-4 and 8-2.
