Warren Central's Chase Ladd inks scholarship with Southwest

Chase Ladd, a right-handed pitcher for the Warren Central Vikings, has signed a scholarship to play for the Southwest Bears. Finishing the 2012 season with a 7-2 record, including a two-hit shutout against Madison Central, Ladd recorded 60 strikeouts in 44 innings pitched and limited opposition batters to a .235 average. Warren Central advanced to this year’s 6A playoffs, but were eliminated by Northwest Rankin.
