Former Bear Jackson Fortenberry returns to his alma matter joining Les George’s staff for the 2025 season. This is Fortenberry’s first collegiate coaching job. He will assist with special teams.
Fortenberry graduated from North Pike High School in 2021 before shining on the field for the Bears from 2021-2022 as a long snapper.
Afterward, he made his way north to Clinton becoming a member of the Mississippi College Football team and spending the 2023 and 2024 seasons as a member of the Choctaws.
He graduated in May 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with minors in Psychology, Special Education and Kinesiology.
