Callie Venable is in her fourth season as assistant coach with the Lady Bears. A former player at Silliman Institute and Jones College, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the program.
She helped lead the Lady Bobcats to a NJCAA National Championship during the 2018 season.
The Clinton, LA-native finished her undergrad at Southern Miss, obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences.
She recenlty received her Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from Southeastern Louisiana University and hopes to work as a pediatric speech language pathologist.
Venable played mostly second base during her playing career and will help coach the middle infielders.
