Former Bear Kaleb Jones is in his first year as assistant coach with the Lady Bear Soccer Team.
Jones – who has 13 years of experience in the sport – made the move back to Summit after brief stops as an assistant football coach, coaching special teams at Williamson High School in Mobile, Alabama and at Resurrection High School in his native Pascagoula as an assistant soccer coach.
The multi-sport athlete – exceling in both soccer and track – graduated from Pascagoula High in 2020 before suiting-up for the Bear Men’s Soccer Team the following year. Following a successful run at Southwest where he showed his elite athleticism, Jones received a track scholarship from Emmanuel College in Georgia.
He spent one season with the Lions before finishing his undergrad and track career at Southern Miss.
