Cesar Cuellar is in his first year as assistant coach with the Bear Men’s Soccer Team. Southwest will be Cuellar’s first full-time collegiate soccer coaching job.
Cuellar brings a wealth of experience to Southwest not only due to his experience as a player but also the fact that he played for exclusive club ball teams as a kid in his native Miami, Florida including for Inter Miami which is a Major League Soccer Academy. He also logged a year professionally in the USL League One.
Cuellar stayed close to home for his undergrad playing on the Division I level for Florida International University. Afterward, he moved on to Central Methodist University in Missouri where he is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree.
