Jermaine Jones is in his second year as the offensive line coach for the Bears’ football team.
Jones spent his youth living in both Greenwood and Itta Bena.
He played football at Northwest Mississippi Community College where he was named First Team MACJC, All-State North Division and was a part of the 2016 State and National Championship Team.
Following his time in Senatobia, Jones played at Southeastern Louisiana University earning Southland Conference team honors. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in 2018.
Later that year, Jones began his coaching career at his alma matter, Leflore County High School, coaching both the offensive and defensive lines. He then moved on to Mississippi College where he was a graduate assistant defensive line coach while working toward his Master’s degree in Athletic Administration. He graduated in 2021.
Jones is the father of a daughter, Aria.
