The second half was a little bit slower for Southwest but the Bears had 9 players enter the scoring column in the half.

Kam Brown led the team with 7 points in the second half with 4 of the team's final 6 points to help close out a close 68-67 win over BRCC for the Bears first road win of the season.

Devin Moore led the team with 15 points in the game, followed by Kam Brown with 13 of his own. Brian Foxworth contributed 12 points of his own to the total.

"Always big to get a win, especially on the road. It wasn't pretty at the end for sure, we need to finish stronger and learn how to put a team away. But for 36 minutes I thought we played really good basketball. We need to harness that and continue that moving forward. Then clean up our late game and how we play with a lead," said Head Coach Corey Schmidt.

The Bears (2-2) will be back at home on Monday, November 9th when they host Bossier Parish.
