Following their big 2-1 win Tuesday over East Central, the Bears kept things rolling Friday with another 2-1 victory, this time over Northwest Mississippi in Senatobia.
"We are happy to have the win after a long drive," Southwest head coach Zach Mills said.
It didn't take long for the Bears (5-1-2, 2-1) to make the first statement. In the 15

"He scored unbelievable goals," Mills said of Padin. "He played well today, and we are happy for him."
The Bear defense presented problems for the Rangers for nearly the entire match.
Northwest got on the board in the 37
th minute with a goal, but the Bears held on for the remainder of the contest to secure the win.
Southwest returns to action on Tuesday as the Bears travel to Ridgeland to face Holmes.
