Lady Bears fall to Co-Lin twice to open conference play

The MACCC schedule started off on a rough note for the Lady Bears Thursday afternoon as they fell to 5^th-ranked Co-Lin 12-0 and 10-1 in Summit. Both games were ended after five innings.

The Lady Bears fell to 8-4, 0-2 on the season

The Lady Bears scored their only run of the day on a Cora Robinson homer in the 5^th inning of the nightcap.

Jade Latham took the game one loss in the circle, allowing 11 runs (two earned) on 10 hits. She struck out three batters.

Jenna Brock had the only hit for the Lady Bears.

Jensen Gremillion took the game two loss in the circle. She allowed 10 runs (one earned) on nine hits and three walks while striking out three.

Bailey Buckley had a double for the Lady Bears. Mikenzi Authement singled twice.

The Lady Bears return to the diamond on March 10 when they host Hinds Community College. Game one of the conference doubleheader is scheduled for 3:00.
