Bears succumb to East Central

The East Central Warriors took a hard-fought match from the home standing Bears Friday afternoon in Summit, 3-1.
 
The Warriors held a 1-0 lead at the end of the first half. The Bears got on the board at the 62:37 mark when Marcelo Carias took a pass from Diego Rangel and fired the ball into the goal from the top of the 18 to tie the contest at 1-1.
 
Two quick goals from the Warriors (2-1) then gave them the winning margin.
 
The Bears (0-2-1) take a few days off before playing their first MACJC South Division match, at home, versus Jones on September 3 at 4:00.
