A bases-loaded error in the bottom of the seventh allowed
Aaron Ragsdale to score from third base and give the Bears a dramatic 3-2 win over the 6
th-ranked Itawamba Indians Saturday evening in the finale of their MACJC doubleheader. The Indians took the opener 12-1 in eight innings.

The Bears got the ball rolling in the fourth inning of game two when a two-out single from
Britt Netterville sent
Paco Bello, on base via a walk, home from second base for a 1-0 lead.

The Indians picked up solo runs in the fifth and sixth innings to go on top 2-1.

In a repeat of the Bears' fourth, Bello led off the bottom of the sixth with a walk. Four batters later, another two-out base hit from Netterville sent Bello across the plate, tying the game at 2-2.

Then came the bottom of the seventh and the walk off win for the Bears (11-16, 3-11) .

Gage Kiser retired all three batters he faced in the top of the seventh to get the win on the mound in relief. Starter
Matthew Graves went six plus innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out one.

Zach Dearman and
Logan Larrimore both had two singles in the game.

Dearman led off the Bears' first inning in game one with a double to right field. Scoring four batters later on Larrimore's two-out base hit, Dearman gave the Bears a 1-0 advantage.

The Indians (24-5, 9-3) took a 2-1 lead in the top of the third and went on to pick up the win.

Keith McKigney took the loss on the mound. In three innings of work, he surrendered two runs on two hits and two walks while striking out one.

Bello had a double and single in the game while Netterville singled twice.

The Bears return to conference play on Wednesday when they host the 7
th-ranked Jones Bobcats.
