Bears shut out by Gulf Coast

The Southwest Bears were shut out at home Tuesday afternoon, 7-0, by the Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs in an MACJC South Division soccer game.

The Bulldogs (5-1, 4-0 South) took a 1-0 lead on Caleb Counselman's goal at 28:15 of the first half. They went on to a 4-0 halftime advantage and added three more goals in the second half.

The Bears (4-3, 1-3 South) travel to Wesson Friday night for a 7:00 South Division matchup against Co-Lin.
