Southwest Mississippi Community College Foundation Executive Director, Dr. Andrew Dale, announced that All-Sports Athletic Passes for 2019-20 are now available. Passes cost $75 each and grant admission to all home athletic events, including the 2019 SMCC Homecoming football game.
All-Sports Athletic Passes offer a significant discount to purchasing individual game tickets throughout the year. Individual tickets for home football games cost $10 each, while individual tickets for home basketball games cost $5 each. Purchasing individual tickets to the dozen home basketball events costs $60 alone, while attending all five home football games without a season pass adds $40 to the total cost.
The home-opener for SMCC football against East Central Community College is scheduled for 7PM, on September 12th. Men and Women's soccer open with an exhibition game against LSU-Alexandria on August 15th. The SMCC Softball team will, as a part of their fall season, hold a tournament on campus October 2nd. Our Women's and Men's Basketball teams will begin play in November starting with the Coca-Cola Classic Tournament, Nov 18th-19th.
We have an incredible number of events for families and the community to participate in. This year there are 99 home games scheduled for our athletic teams, meaning you gain entry to each of our home games for nearly $.75 each! Weekend plans for the family during the Fall and family outings in the Winter can all be resolved for $75 per family member with a 2019-20 All-Sports Season Pass.
In addition to being an incredible value, the All-Sport Athletic Passes help support the athletic programs of the college. Your purchase of an All-Sport Athletic Pass will directly benefit the ongoing support of the athletic department though the Southwest Mississippi Community College Foundation.
The Southwest Mississippi Community College Foundation's primary objective is to raise scholarship funds for Southwest Mississippi Community College Students and Athletes. The Foundation also assists the athletic department with various fundraising activities, and actively promotes interest in and awareness of all SMCC sports programs. The Foundation, through its board of directors believes that a successful athletics program enhances the collegiate experience for student-athletes and non-student-athletes alike, as well as building a strong alliance with the community and alumni.
