Tatyana Turner has returned for her second stint as an assistant coach with the Lady Bears after previously serving in the role during the 2021-22 season.
The former Lady Bear played for Head Coach Brent Harris from 2014-16.
After graduating from SMCC, she later attended Belhaven University, playing for one season for the Blazers.
A native of Summit, Turner played two years at North Pike, averaging 16.2 points per game.
Upon graduation from Southwest, Turner served in the United States Air Force until 2021 when she returned to her alma mater to coach.
In 2023 she started her own rug tufting business and for the past two years has worked in logistics at Amazon as a dispatcher and at FedEx.
