HIGH SCHOOL: graduate of Jewel Sumner High School…three-time All-District selection…helped lead the team to three district titles…Academic All-State as a senior
SOUTHWEST (2016): behind the plate for each of the team’s 44 games…hit .274 with 29 hits & 12 runs scored…helped the Lady Bears to a school-record 23 wins & make it to the MACJC playoffs for the first time
PERSONAL: parents are Ernie & Teresa Sanchez…her twin sister is also a member of the Lady Bears squad…favorite athlete is Chipper Jones…favorite food is hot dogs
